I have just returned from a wonderful stay at Mgallery Hotel Lindrum in Melbourne. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to Collins Street and Federation Square just a few blocks away. The hotel's gorgeous exterior immediately caught my attention and set the tone for a charming and homely experience.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of character in the rooms and slightly squishy pillows, these were easily overshadowed by the overall positive experience. The hotel even accepted cash for payment, although they didn't have change on hand and I had to overpay by $5.

I loved the warm, inviting ambience and decor of the foyer, bar and public areas. Very comfortable bed and I had a great night's sleep. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very nicely decorated, distinctive, unlike a standard hotel room.
I would've like a ramp instead of stairs up to the main entrance as I am a solo female traveller and had to carry my luggage up & down the stairs. While there are only a few stairs, it's enough to be inconvenient.

I Loved the location, it was close to my favourite restaurants. Staff were friendly and the hotel was small and had a homely feel to it. Love the fireplace and the snooker table.
I think the rooms could be updated a little. Our bathroom door was rattling throughout the night. Our room keycard did not work and we had to use a "key". The bathroom floor got wet everytime I took a shower.

The location in a nice quiet area was absolutely perfect and there were a shopping street and a market nearby. My room was extremely pleasant and nicely furnished with shower and the bar, as example, and the check-out was late. The breakfast was rich, the check in was early.

We appreciated it. Had very enjoyable stay for three nights. Classic queen room with the bathroom and comfy beds and bath and shower accommodated us perfectly. The location couldn't be more particularly good close to parks.

We had a wonderful stay at this historic hotel. The location was great, and the staff at Mgallery were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and quiet, allowing my wife to rest while I enjoyed a cup of freshly pressed coffee in the lobby at 4am. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel's stylish lobby added to the overall experience. The bathroom amenities were lovely, and the selection of T2 tea was perfect for the chilly Melbourne winter. a fantastic stay.
Nothing to complain about at all. 😊

Staff are impeccable Heritage building features are lovely Location is great to walk Melbourne city Plenty of quality restaurants/cafes/bars within walking distance Rooms are big, very comfortable, quiet, great quality linen/bath accessories Excellent lobby bar with pool table Excellent in-house restaurant/room service menu Free Wifi
Ensuite shower was a pretty average bath/shower combo with moderate water pressure and uneven spray from the head. Made the bathroom appear a little dated.

The location is perfect, situated at the edge of the city, close to everything without being right in the busy CBD. You can enjoy a peaceful stay and still have easy access to all the attractions Melbourne has to offer. The hotel could benefit from some improvements in certain areas.
